Setup Images and Metadata on IPFS

Did you know? With Mintplex this stage is 100% optional. You can self-host your images on your own server if you really wanted to and still use Mintplex!

Create a Pinata Account

First, you will need a pinata account. This costs nothing to do and will get you 1GB of storage space on IPFS for free! create an account at Pinata and get to your home screen.

Before you get started!

Read all the requirements below! Missing any of these details could result in your NFT's not showing up on marketplaces!

• Be sure your images are all numbered properly. Mintplex tokens begin at 1. Each file name in your images folder should match the token it will be associated with For example, token 1 will show 1.jpg in your images folder.

• You should have some basic metadata for each image. If you don't have some metadata ready then you should be able to generate some with a free tool. Hop in our discord for help.
